Role Profile

We have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join our team as a Branch Assistant. This role is primarily based within the retail store environment and involves supporting customers, merchandising products, processing sales and maintaining high presentation standards throughout the branch. While the successful candidate will work mainly within the retail area, all employees may be required to provide support across other branch operations, including the yard, when business needs require.

 

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Retail Operations

  • Serve customers at the sales counter and checkout, processing sales transactions accurately.
  • Provide product advice and recommendations across our agri, hardware, gardening and lifestyle ranges.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service.
  • Merchandise products and maintain attractive product displays and high housekeeping standards within the store.
  • Process deliveries and stock receipts, replenish shelves and monitor stock levels including regular stock takes.
  • Occasionally provide support to yard operations during busy periods.

Requirements

  • A friendly outgoing personality, excellent customer service skills and ambition to deliver beyond customers’ expectation.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills as well ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to multitask and to consistently deliver high standard quality work in a busy environment.
  • I.T Skills are also required.
