The Opportunity

We are seeking a Customer Services Executive to join our Agribusiness Customer Service team based in Kilkenny.

Reporting to the Customer Services Senior Executive, you will play an important role in delivering an outstanding experience to our customers and stakeholders. Working closely with colleagues across Customer Service, Commercial, Logistics, Planning and Quality, you will help ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the function while actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and customer-focused projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer enquiries, requests and service issues in a professional, timely and customer-focused manner.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the Customer Service function, ensuring service levels and performance standards are achieved.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Resolve complex or escalated queries through to successful conclusion.
  • Analyse customer and operational data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports using SAP, C4C and SAC systems.
  • Participate in customer service improvement initiatives, projects and process enhancement activities.
  • Contribute to Voice of Customer programmes, helping to identify and implement improvements that enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Support performance management activities, including monthly reviews and continuous improvement discussions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service quality, efficiency and productivity.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and customer excellence.

 

About You

You are a proactive, organised and solutions-focused professional with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service, customer support or customer operations role.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience managing customer queries through to resolution.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to service excellence.

 

Desirable

  • Experience working with SAP, C4C, SAC or similar ERP/CRM systems.
  • Experience within agribusiness, agriculture, food, manufacturing or supply chain environments.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and customer experience programmes.
