Role Profile

Tirlan is now seeking applications to fill a Temporary Summer Student Operative vacancy at our production facility in Wexford. The role will be working in various areas  of the  plant  relating to plant performance, product quality with a strong emphasis on plant hygiene and will perform general operational duties across the various production areas and shifts.

The successful candidate may be assigned to work day, evening or night shift work depending on operational requirements.

Key Requirements 
Students must:
•    Be available for the placement (May – September 2026)
•    Have a full driving licence and full time access to a car (or a way of getting to the site for the duration of the placement)
•    Be willing to work to shift schedules (which can include weekend and night work)

Skills & Experience

Experience working in a fast paced environment.

Experience working in food hygiene is also desirable.

Requirements

• Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative and to quickly adapt to new work skills
• Strong emphasis on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Diligent, enthusiastic and performance driven.
• Demonstrate proficiency in use of I.T
• Good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
