The Opportunity

As Branch Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our CountryLife store in Campile, creating an exceptional customer experience while delivering strong commercial results.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will inspire and develop your team, drive sales growth, maintain high retail standards and ensure the branch continues to be a valued destination for customers across the local farming and wider community.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will have responsibility for branch performance, team leadership, customer engagement, stock management and operational excellence while working closely with colleagues across the wider Tirlán Agribusiness network.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Commercial Performance

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience for all customers visiting the branch.
• Build strong customer relationships and support customers in finding products and solutions that meet their needs.
• Drive sales growth across the store's retail and agricultural product ranges.
• Identify opportunities to expand local business and strengthen the branch's presence within the community.
• Monitor branch performance and implement actions to achieve sales, margin and profitability targets.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and customer-focused culture.
• Support employee development through regular coaching, feedback and performance management.
• Ensure colleagues have the tools, training and support required to succeed.

Retail Operations

• Maintain excellent visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Ensure effective stock control and inventory management processes.
• Oversee daily branch operations, administration and account management activities.
• Ensure efficient execution of promotions, seasonal campaigns and marketing activity.
• Drive continuous improvements in operational performance.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
• Maintain a safe environment for customers, colleagues and visitors.
• Promote and demonstrate Tirlán Values in all aspects of the role.

What We're Looking For

We are interested in hearing from candidates who bring strong leadership, customer service and commercial experience from retail, sales, hospitality, customer-facing operations or agricultural environments.

You may be an experienced Branch Manager, Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Team Leader looking to take the next step in your career.

Essential

• Experience leading and motivating teams in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience delivering sales and business performance targets.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and retail systems.

Desirable

• Previous experience in retail, agricultural retail, sales or customer service environments.
• Knowledge of agriculture, gardening, hardware, rural retail or related sectors.
• Experience working with inventory management, merchandising and stock control processes.
• Familiarity with SAP, EPOS or other retail management systems.
