About this Role

We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Seasonal General Operatives to join our team at Europe’s largest integrated milk processing site at Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny.

As a Seasonal General Operative, you will play an important role in supporting our manufacturing operations, helping to ensure the production of high-quality products in a safe, efficient, and hygienic environment. Working as part of a collaborative operations team, you will report directly to the Area Production Manager and gain valuable experience within a leading food ingredients manufacturing facility.

What You'll Do

As part of the production team, you will be involved in a variety of operational activities, including:

• Operating production plant and equipment across powder packing and palletisation processes.
• Sampling and monitoring product streams to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Monitoring and controlling key plant performance indicators to support efficient operations.
• Performing forklift duties, including loading and unloading containers (where required).
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across production areas.
• Supporting plant performance targets relating to quality, throughput, efficiency, hygiene, and waste reduction.
• Following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Working safely and contributing to a positive safety culture within the site.
• Assisting with general operational tasks such as cleaning, product rework, and other duties as required.

• Basic computer literacy and the ability to work with production data and information.
• Flexibility and a willingness to work across different areas as required.

Working Pattern

This is a seasonal position, and successful candidates must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, depending on operational requirements.
