The initial focus will be on enabling projects and will involve close collaboration with our partner. Role Profile
Reporting to the Supply Chain & Manufacturing CoE Manager, we are seeking an experienced SAP Procure to Pay (P2P) Senior Analyst to join our organisation.
This key role will be responsible for overseeing and optimising our SAP procurement and SAP Ariba systems to support and enhance our end-to-end purchasing processes and capabilities across the organisation.
The role will work in close partnership with the Information Technology team, Tirlan business stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that supply chain infrastructure supports business objectives and complies with relevant regulations.
The Supply Chain & Manufacturing function’s responsibilities span 80 locations including manufacturing facilities, offices, retail locations, data centres, cloud services and managed services.
A successful candidate must demonstrate strong technical skills and P2P process understanding combined with impersonal skills to work with IT and business process specialists to visualise and implement future state IT landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee SAP Procurement Operations and continuously improve SAP procurement modules, ensuring they support business needs and best practices.
- Take ownership and management of SAP Ariba platform, driving adoption, configuration, and integration with existing SAP systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Coordinate and drive developments within the Procure to Pay systems, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment, to ensure continual system evolution in line with business needs.
- Act as the key IT point of contact for supply chain procurement, working closely with procurement teams, finance, and external partners.
- Provide expert support for SAP procurement and Ariba users, resolving system issues and coordinating with IT support teams.
- Ensure procurement systems adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and confidentiality across Procure to Pay systems.
- Provide training and support to end users within the Procure to Pay process, ensuring adoption of best practices and system utilisation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system architecture, configurations, integrations, processes, and custom developments.
- Work closely with vendors and external partners to ensure optimal system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in SAP procurement and SAP Ariba administration, ideally within a supply chain environment.
- Strong understanding of SAP ERP systems, purchasing workflows, and relevant IT development methodologies.
- Experience in system integration, process automation, and change management.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills, capable of working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing IT projects, particularly in procurement or supply chain domains.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in coordinating and facilitating the work an advantage.
- Relevant certifications in SAP, supply chain, project management or related areas highly desirable.
