Role Profile

We are seeking a technically astute and analytically minded Master Data Governance Analyst to play a key role in strengthening and maintaining Tirlán's master data governance framework.

A key aspect of this role is understanding the objectives of the Master Data Governance team and helping drive the adoption of governance standards, data ownership and stewardship practices that support Tirlán's wider business goals and transformation agenda.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large and complex data sets, understands how data supports business processes, and is passionate about data quality, ownership, standards and governance. You will act as a trusted partner to business and IT stakeholders, ensuring master data is accurate, consistent, compliant and fit for purpose across our SAP landscape.

The successful candidate will combine strong SAP and data analysis skills with a natural curiosity for understanding how data is created, managed and governed.

What You’ll Do

Master Data Governance & Stewardship

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Tirlán's Master Data Governance strategy.
• Collaborate with data owners, process owners and subject matter experts to define and maintain master data standards, policies and governance processes.
• Promote consistent master data management practices and ensure governance requirements are embedded within day-to-day operations.
• Support compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and GDPR obligations relating to master data.

SAP Data Management & Analysis

• Analyse SAP master data to identify quality issues, inconsistencies, duplicates, missing attributes and process failures.
• Perform root cause analysis to determine whether issues originate from business processes, system configuration, user behaviour or upstream data sources.
• Analyse large volumes of data across SAP and connected systems to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.

Data Quality & Controls

• Develop and maintain data quality controls, validation rules and exception reporting.
• Monitor key data quality metrics and governance KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support ongoing data quality initiatives, ensuring master data remains accurate, complete and aligned to business standards.
• Assist with data migration, transformation and SAP enhancement projects, ensuring governance principles are maintained throughout.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Leverage SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Excel and other reporting tools to provide meaningful analysis and governance reporting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance data quality, governance and operational efficiency.

Essential Experience

• 3-5 years' experience working with SAP master data or enterprise data environments.
• Strong experience analysing, validating and maintaining large and complex datasets.
• Experience identifying and resolving data quality issues through analysis, profiling and root cause investigation.
• Excellent understanding of data governance principles, data ownership and stewardship practices.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using analytical and reporting tools.
• Ability to interpret business processes and understand their impact on data quality.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within a formal Master Data Management (MDM) or Data Governance framework.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, data migration or ERP transformation programmes.
• Experience using SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI or similar reporting platforms.
• Experience developing data quality dashboards, controls or governance reporting.
